Team BMR finally have something to celebrate with Ash and Jason topping this afternoon’s qualifying session at Croft with an Adrian Flux Subaru Racing front row lock out for round 13 of the Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.
The team, alongside Swindon Powertrain, have worked around the clock since our last time out at Oulton Park making refinements to the cars and our efforts have been rewarded this afternoon.
The Croft Circuit suits the Subaru Levorg very well, being a rear wheel drive circuit, and with our drivers being weight free today we were hoping for a great result.
A ballast free Ash and Jason performed an outstanding display during the mornings two practice sessions with Ash topping the timelines in the second session. Ash then set the pace early on bettering his efforts with a flying lap of 1:24.22s with Jason just marginally behind with a 1:24.38.
Josh also had a good afternoon qualifying his best position of the season of 20th.
